Why start a blog? Well, I really don’t have a reason except that life can get a little hectic and when it gets hectic, it’s nice to know that there is someone out there that has been through exactly what you have. Okay, NO ONE has gone through EXACTLY what you have. BUT it may have been something very similar. If I can be that person that someone else stumbles along and thinks “wow…I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels this way/went through this/learned this lesson” then I think it’s worth it to do what I love. Write.

I am an overwhelmed mother of three beautiful children and wife to a husband who puts up with a whole lot of crazy. I am a moderately liberal leaning political junkie but I have promised to try my hardest to stay away from topics of that nature. This does not mean that I am not an overly passionate person when it comes to my political beliefs…it just means that this is not a political blog and this Momma no longer has the time or energy to banter politics like I used to. No, this is a boring old lady blog about the many facets of Me: the mommy, the wife, the women, the Christian, the writer, the over-thinker, free spirit and neurotic basket case…plus all the other traits that make up yours truly.

My amazing husband Jeremy and I live and love in Saint Louis and spend the majority of our time wrangling our kids (Oliver-5, Lorelei-3, Harper -9 months) our adorable dog Lucy and of course Miss Hallie Cat. Hallie has been with me through almost all my lives (Fodder for a future blog post). I’m the last kid of a Military man so my early years were spent coast hopping until life changes landed us in Saint Louis which has become my homeland, much to my chagrin.
